Kidsgiftguide Recommendations to Best in Books

kidsgiftguide.com.auReading to kids from an early age creates a stimulating and safe environment, it encourages language, thinking and literacy.   A child’s first teacher is their parent or caregiver.  Reading from the start of life will help establish a life-long love of reading in kids.  Reading aloud to your child from the earliest age will set a pattern for the rest of their life.  Reading together is a special time when a child is young.  When they are older and independent they will need some guidance to continue the journey of reading.

Here are some reading suggestions to give them a flying start. Some of these suggestions for early readers have stood the test of time and are now what you could call “Classics” for young kids.  They make perfect gifts as they will be read and enjoyed many times over.
